DUNEDLN STOCK EXCHANGE, Mount Lyells have firmed and had a good turnover this morning, five sales taking place at 24a 3d and one at 24s 6d, the market closing with a buyer at 24s 4d and a seller at 24s 9d. Bank and insurance shares continue in good demand. P. and O.s had another sharp rise to £486 buyeis, £495 sellers. Huddarts have also firmed, and were wanted at 43a 6d, but sellara asked 43a 9d. Mosgiel Woollens, Miibom Limes, and National Mortgages all had inquiry, bat without sellers. Paper Mills are strong, and were sought for at 27s 6d, sellers asking 28s.
