THE PINK LADY

To-morrow night J. C. Williamson’s Roval Conic Opera Company will make their farewell appearance here, and the occasion will present them in the very animated and humorous musical comedy ‘The Pink Lady.’ Gay musk and spectacular dancing, together with much genuine and wholesome humor, are among the bright feature of this opera, which proved eminently successful when it was originally staged in New Zealand. Opportunities for the display of vocal talents are many. Its many tuneful numbers are, it is said, in every‘instance within range and treatment of those entrusted to them. Amongst the most popular of the musical numbers are the following:—‘ Brng Along the Camera/ ‘l’m Single for Six Weeks More/ ‘Love is Divine/ ‘By the Saskatchewan/ ‘Mv Don’t-Care Girl/ ‘The Intriguers,’ 4 Donnv Did, Denny Didn’t/ ‘Kiss Waltz/ ‘Hide and Seek/ ‘The Right to Love/ ‘ Nymphs and Satyrs/ ‘ I Like It/ ‘When You’re a Long, Long Way from Home,’ and ‘My Beautiful Lady.’ ‘ The Pink Lady’ is undoubtedly one of the mostpopular of the latter-day musical plays, and the phenomenal bookings assure a crowded house.
