THE LABOR CONFERENCE
[Psa United Peess Association;] WELLINGTON, July 1. The Conference of She Federation of Labor opened to-day, Mr T, Blood worth (Auckland’) presiding. The fall awing remits were adopted*:’— That the constitution be. amended so as to provide that the secretary shall bo elected by and be under the control of the National Executive. That the conference approve of the constitution of the National Alliance of Labor, and recommend its adoption to all the affiliated bodie|. That the conference approve the action of the National Executive in affiliating with the National Alliance of Labor, and instruct the incoming National Executive to renew affiliation. A remit that the conference decide 12 months ahead where the National Executive shall bo located was defeated.
