CANNOT BE WRITTEN OFF. “'That a request that ground fees owing by the Wellington} Provincial Rugby Football Union be written off be net acceded to ” was the nature of a recommendation made to the Wellington City Council by Iheir Finance Committee last week. In answer to Cr Fraser the Mayor (Mr Luke) said that the council’s finances were such at the present time that the council could not afford to bo over-generous.
