O'fAG'O A\D SOUTH LA X.O AUXILIARY. The 271k Anr.aal meeting of the Oi-atjc and Southland Auxiliary of the Bapia'fl Union of New Zealand was held on 'I nes day nt the Morrnni;toii Baptist C'huveh. The proceedings opened with a, devotional meeting, eon-ducted by the Rev. V B. Eeeersnll. The attendanee was good and several led in prayer on behalf of the work of the ehm-elms of thy denomination throughout the district. At 11 a.m. th<> business session was con stituted. some 50 delegates bavino; been appointed by the. various churche; throughout Otatro and Southland the president. Pastor I'. Robeitson, of Mo.sgiel, pres.id 'wg. After the- roil of delegates had beet] ca.led the elm-innaii delivered his presidential ndcltess on ''the Power of the Word of God.' The ,\rtin;,' Secretary. Mr IL H. Driver, delivered the annual report-. Reference was made to tile retirement of the Rev, R. S. O ray it on. five pastorate of the Hanover Street Church, and t-ho removal of the Rev. I.'. RaHuston from Oaversha.m to Roslyn, and also Pastor R. Robert-son fioni MorniusjUm to .Mospdel.
