WESLEY CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
The ann'.versarv in connection with the "Wesley Church Siinday School took place last evening. A large number of the Sunday school children at tended at both the tea meeting and the picture -entertainment. The first item on the programme was given, by Mr W. Devlin, and consisted; -of several tunes on ! tire xylophone. The pictures were beaded !by a ' Broncho Billy' ftanire, starring G. M ; I Anderson. A laughable coirredy, entitled 'The Broken Lease,' and many other films : were screened also. In the interval the Key. R. Raino gave a short address, and at his request ' God Save the King' was sung. ; Miss Home contributed a song and acted as accompanist© for the first half of the pro- ; gLsmme, wlulst Miss Atkinson played for the second half. The picture machine- was lent for the occasion by Messrs M'Gxegor Bros. Altogether the children had! a very pleasant evening'. At the end of the entertainment 'God; Save the King' was again eunjf.
