70KBTJRY TROTS-TO-MORROW. About 40 horses were brought from Canterbury by the special train that reached Dunedin yesterday evening. More would have made the trip but for the effects ot the recent racing on hard courses in Canterbury leaving them a bit sore. The first race to-morrow, and also on Saturday, is to . start at noon, and the last raoe each day at 4.40. The course "is in apbndid order. Mr H. Brinkman, the handicapper, has arrived. He has penalised St. Mihiel 24yds in the Innovation and Domain Handicaps. A special train, carrying passengers and horses, is to leave Dunedin for Christchuxoh at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
