KING'S. The British Admiralty film, "The Surrender of the Gorman Fleet,' was screened at the King's Theatre this afternoon. Ilia film show ships of the largest battleship class to the smallest destroyers steaming in stately procession.. Germany's submarine fleet, "-which was responsible for such great destruction of shipping, is shown surrendering to the British Meet. The list of supports is a good one. HAYWAKDS'. 'Opportunity' is a surprising, enjoyabte screen romance with that dehg-htfnl littla star, Viola Dana, in a, captivating role. As Mary Willard, a tomboy proficient afe' boxing, she determines to see a prize fight. She succeeds; but the experience lands her in the midst of undreamed-of difficulties. From hero on the picture continues to * thrilling climax. 'Opportunity,' with a good bill of supports, is rarer being shown at Haywards' Theatre. QUEEN'S AND KING EDWABD. The Triangle feature, 'The Medkim Man,' starring Eoy Stewart, will ba screened at the Queen's and King Edward Theatres again to-night. The jic« ture is thrilling, and the are rugged and beautiful. The eighth episode of * The House of Hate' is included In the list of supporting subjects. EMPIRE. 'Viviette,' a Paramount production, is the title of the well-constructed and splendidly presented headliner now being ahowni at the Empire Theatre. The supporting subjects are also of a high-class standard, and include an American Gazette, and tha sixth episode of the thrilling serial, ' Tha Eagle's Eye.' This programme will ba screened for the last time to-nJgl*. EVERYBODY'S. 'The Appearance of Evil,' heading tha list this week at the Everybody** Theatre, and starring June Elvidge, gives a straight hint to people not to draw their own oon-r elusions. A Mack Bennett comedy entitled 'H'ia Naughty Thought' is also being screened-. PLAZA. The patrons of the Plassa Theat*© will have the last opportunity of seeing ' The Girl With tha Champagne Eyes' to-right. This is a very thrilling and exciting drama, dcaHng with the lives of a hand of crooks. The Sunshine comedy 'Wild Women and Tame Lions' is the headliner of the supports. LYEIC PIGTUBEB, PORT CHALMERS. Picture-lovers at Port Chalmers axe promised a pictorial treat to-morrow evening at the popular Lyric, when the management are presenting the super attraction by Paramount entailed 'The Hired Man,' with the universal favorite, Charles Ray, in the chief role. In 'The Hired Man' there are real scenes filmed on the Calilonrian Fair, which was held near Los Angeles, and shows the farm exhibits, the race.-;, and manv of the fitandard fair attractions, including even a balloon aacent.
