The four-masted schooner Philippine (491 tons) has. been chartered to load a cargo of case oil at San Francisco for discharge at Auckland dredge Te Whaka, the property of the _ Lyttelton Harbor Board, is at present having a general overhauling prior to her departure for Nelson, where she is to carry out dredging operations for about two months. The Ulimaroa arrived at Brisbane oil April 20 with a Jarsre number of interned troops from Port Said via Colombo, Fra-n-male, Melbourne, ami Sydney. The Ulimaroa was one of the* first interetaw steamers to be withdrawn for oversaaa war service. The overhaul and repairs to the Government- steamer Hmemoa are expected to be completed about the end of this weak at Wellington. The steamer Westmoreland is expected to arrive at Bluff to-morrow from Adelaide to commence Homeward loading. The vessel is to proceed thence to Wellington, where she is due on May 19. The local office of the Hud-dart-Parker Company ad viae that- the Westralia is expected to leave Wellington oik Saturdav evening for Lyttelton and Dim-e-din. -Sho is due here on Tuesday next. KAIAPOI AT BLUFF. The Kaiapoi arrived off Bluff this morn- [ ing from Melbourne, and was placed in quarantine. She is expected to berth toI morrow morning to commence diwsharging her general cargo. The vessel win prohably leave Bluff to-morrow night iov Dunedin, in which case she should arrive here on Friday.
