This stoppage is regarded bv the" employers as an aggravated breach of argeement under which the nominally are being oi;craied. It- will he iemembered that recently the Coal Mine Owners' Association drew the attention of the Miners' Federation _ u> the repeated breaches of agreement. Trie Miners' 1-ede-ration have not vet* made any official reply to the recent demand of tba Con! Mine, Owners' Association that the agreement should he observer! at. the mines. The federation acknowledged the reeeipl o! tlie ussocia-tion's . communication, and .-taterl that the matter wonld be considered. The agreement provides that there shall be no stoppages:, and that all dispute- are to be referred to tlie Disputes Committee.
