Hawthorn, Leslie have nearly completed the Port Nicholson for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line. The vessel is 500 ft long, of 12,722 tons dead weight. Swan. Hunter, and Co. are buildincr two steamers for the FederalShire Line. The Palmer Company aro building a third vessel, two having already been launched. Armstrong. Whitworths, and Palmer are each building one vessel for the Shaw. Savill, and Albion Line. The last of rive steamers mentioned -will be 450 ft long, to carry 3,200 ton» of meat each.
