PLOT AGAINST SWITZERLAND.
LONDON,*- April 29. (Received May 1, at 8.50 a.m.) The Swiss authorities have discovered at Moscow the Bolshevik Government’s complete instructions for a revolution in Switzerland, which was to be attempted in October. These included the proclamation of martial law at Berne and Zurich, and the arrest of Ministers, Judges, officials, and hostile editors, also of their wives and children as hostages. Im the event of resistance the hostages were to be shot publicly. AMERICAN ADMIRAL INSULTS SIR FREDERICK MAURICE. NEW YORK, April 29. (Received May 1, at 9.10 a.m.) Vice-Admiral Sims refused to appear at a Victory Loan meeting with Major-gen-eral Maurice. Admiral Sims said; “We fighting men cannot understand why General Maurice wasn’t shot when he wrote a letter affecting the morale of the allied forces and their civilian population.” [Major-general Maurice, since resigning the post of Director of Military Operations on the Imperial General Staff under sensational circumstances, has been military correspondent of the ‘ Daily Chronicle,’ and is now visiting America.] ANOTHER CAMP FRACAS. NEGROES ATTACK AMERICANS. LONDON, April 29. (Received May 1, at 8.50 a.m.) A corps of South African blacks attacked the Americans at Winchester repatriation camp with sticks, killing'three and injuring 30. British troops quelled the disturbance. ,
