(Received March 21, at 12.20 p.m.) In reference to the increase of influenza it has been officially stated that all suspicious cases reported are immediately removed to hospital, but under 60 per cent. of them prove to be of the pneumonic " The Government have appointed a commission of three leading medical men to watch the progress of influenza, with a view to securing information regarding the cause and treatment of the disease.
