(Received March 21, at 8.55 a.m.) The ' Daily Telegraph's' Rotterdam correspondent states: Although Noske has proved victorious in the pitched battles, there is still much desultory rifle fire in Berlin at night time, and occasional shells from the Spartaeist artillery. Six hundred dead are lying in the morgue and the hospitals, but besides these many of the Spartaeist victims have been buried secretly. There is a strong revulsion of feeling against the ruthlessness of the Government troops and the summary executions, especially in Lichtcnborg, where scores of innocent men (? women), and children were killed. Berliner? believe that the extremists are gaining strength throughout the country, ftnd will engineer another outbreak. It is significant that the trade unions and cooperative societies are dismissing their Majority Socialist officials and installing Independent Socialists. The Government are passing a Bill forbidding trafiio in Russian money ajid securities, hoping thus to prevent the Spartacists from obtaining Russian financial support.
