DUNEDIN GUN CLUB
Members of the above club who turned up at Tahuna Park on Saturday afternoon ■were favored with ideal conditions for clay bird contests. The weather was perfect, and consequently there was some excellent shooting'. A number of the most enthusiastic members were absent. It is to be hoped that by the time the next shoot comes round the prevailing epidemic will have abated, so that the club may record a full muster. The shooting started with, the usual 12-bird match. The winner again turned up in G. Turner, who shot so well last month. This time he shot the whole of the 12 birds, without taking advantage of hia concessions in star birds. Hia win was therefore well deserved.
The following are the scores : —G. Turner (10yds) 12, A. Bryne (10yds) 11, A. Turner (16yds) 10, H. Kng ;12yds) 10, G. Porter (10yds) 10, A. King (14yds) 8, R. Gray (10yds) 8, Q. Lees (Bydsi 2.
