SANTIAGO, December 8. (Received December 9, at- 8.40 a.m.)
Latest repeats of the earthquake in Northern Chile state that 400 buildings wore destroyed at C'opiapo, the capital of .Atacama province. Three tidal waves destroyed a large portion of the port of Taltal, northwest of Copiapo. There were several deaths, and many peoplo were injured.
