Mails close at tho Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under : TO-DAY (WEDNESDAY), DECEMBER 4. For Rarotonga, Tahiti, America, Continent of Europe, and the United Kingdom, via San Francisco (to connect with the s.s. Paloona at Wellington), at 8 p.m. Late-fee at Railway Station on December 6 at 7.55 a.m. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji (to connect with the s.s. Tallin® at Auckland) at 8 p.m. Late-fees at Railway Station on December 5 at 7.55 a-m. Owing to tho present uncertain state of *th© Wellington-to-Lyttellon ferry service, •business firms are requested to post their United Kingdom, Foreign, and Australian correspondence daily, instead of waiting for tho usual mail notice. Parcels for the Expeditionary Forces in Europe, and paresis for United Kingdom, doss at tho Chief Post Office, Dunedin, fortnightly, and are despatched to their destination by first opportunity. Correspondence for all neutral countries i» subject to censorship.
