Thousands of young people will be benefited by the erection of dressing accommodation on the Oval. Already over 600 engage in healthful games there every Saturday during the winter, and every year there is a fresh crop of young life in the various sports. Thus there are few citizens who will not share directly or indirectly in the advantages that will follow as the result of the efforts of the public-spirited promoters of the sports gala to bo hold at Oarisbrook Ground on Saturday for the object indicated. Realising this, the public may be relied upon to give practical encouragement to the school children who are endeavoring to take their share in the effort by circulating the tickets. Judging from the programme published, tho gala, with its spirited athletic contests, its music, etc., should satisfy the most exacting.
