Sergeant Jamea Herd man Obppin (died •om wounds) was the second surviving son f Mr James Coppin, Morning ton, and a ephow of Mrs W. H. Inglis, 153 Castle ;reet. He was born in Geraldine and eduited in Petone, and was 26 years of age. [e was in Sydney when war was declared, nd joined the 2nd A.I.F. He went lrongh the Gallipoli campaign, and was id of the last five to leave the peninsula, ! sing at that time a despatch bearer. His der brother John was killed in action on allipoli on June 16, 1915. The brother >xt in ase to him was severely wounded st November, and is now at the Hornrarch Convalescent Hospital. The fourth id youngest brother left for camp last eek. Rifleman Con Gordon Hutton, who Is rented to have died from wounds on August K was the son of the late Mr David Con utton, art master, Dunedin. He received s education at tho Arthur Street School id Boys' High School. Having passed vil Service and matriculation, he entered e services of the National Insurance Com--ny, and remained there until he enlisted the 17th Reinforcemnts. He left New saland as a quartermaster-seryea.nt in the th Reinforcements. His brother, Second eutenant Lome De H. Hutton, was killed i March 23.
