PARIS, August 22. 1 Lex Nbuveiles' states that the Germans £hat 500 British prisoners its a dark, \mwntHated ooacKhonse behind, the lines in Picardy for 16 days. They were unable to l*e"down, and scarcely able to move. The valy food supplied wa» a repulsive broth, and they -were only allowed out for a few iniautes'daily. Many died.
