"C'oinrarod with the return for April, 1'J1.7, there was a <lccrosi-s« of 13.7270/, fine. The return for the. lust four months was '12,96607. Sue, showing a decrease of 26,000 ounces compared with the yield for the corresponding period of last year. GOLD RETURNS FOB JUNK. The gold.' returns from tho Auckland district'mines in Juno totalled £59,700. Compared with the total for June, 1917, namely, £64,794, this shows a decrease of £5,094.
