.Messrs Bray Bros, (of Dunodin), Ltd., report as follows for the week ended today ; Fruit. —Largo consignments of dessert and cooking apples have arrived during tlio past week, and values are easier coinpared with those ruling last week. We expect consignments of Adelaide and Sydney fruit at an early date. Onions : The onion market has firmed, and has advanced about £2 per ton during the past few days. Values in Canterbury are very high, and with Melbourne onions quoted at £ls per ton (which means they would cost in the vicinity of £l9 10s landed at Uunedin), there must be a further rise in value. Potatoes : The, market shows an upward tendency, and good prime lines are readily placed at quotations. Medium and inferior lines are not meeting with a ready sale. Chaff: Very firm. The hulk of the lines coming forward are light or discolored, and primo lines are readily picked up. Oats: All lines are in short supply. Poultry is in short supply, and good 'table birds are demanding excellent prices. Fggs: Stamped and guaranteed eggs are firm at quotations. The following prices were realised during the week: Wheat, fowl, 6s 6d per bushel. Oats, feed Gartons, 4s 7d per bushel. Chaff.—Prime oaten sheaf, £7 to £7 10s; medium, £6 5s per ton. Fat, 23s per cwt. Beeswax, 2s per lb. Maize. 7s 3d per bushel. Clover hay, £o 15s per ton. Hitchon's'bacon. Is 3d per lb. Choeso, mild and matured, per lb. Eggs.—'Stamped, Is lOd per dozen; preserved, Is 6kd per dozen. Butter. —Creamery bulk. Is 5Jd; creamery pats, Is 6d : dairy and separator, Is 3d : milled, Is 2d to Is 4d per lb.
