ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
Oiu' Kaitaiiffnta correspondent telegraphs: A serious accident occurred tp<ierday in Kadtaneata, No. 2 mine, whereby a miliar nsmcd Sulzberger sustained serious iniurie-i through a fall of stone on his bark. Ho is now in the local hospital, in a very low condition. Jack Halsey. aced 10, residing -with bis parents at Fairfield, was admitted to the Hospital last oveninsr, suffering from a broken rigrht arm, re'sultinrc from a fall at school during the dav. On inquiry this morning ho was reported to be doing well, James Cotton, who was admitted to the Hospital yesterday, suffering from injuries to eye and bend, and put on the " dangerously ill" list last night, is reported to bo much the same, no improvement being noticed.
