Tho story- grows iu fascination and perplexity as it proceeds, and there are several tUvAling ‘denouements. In partial explanation ft may be said flint too fnvcsffgator presently comes across the paradox that the nnmlcred man is not dead, and also that tho supposed perpetrator could not, have left the. tell-tale finger-prints, fin.ee flic wore gloves. Two new Vitagruph .actresses make their bow in this play, and both are- acclaimed unusual beauties, and Miriam Miles takes tho role of Karfe WlllifimaVi .swarthcart, and Jean Dimiar is the fiancee of the .supposedly murdered Orell.
