NEW ZEALAND HERO.
LORD -JELLSOOE'S PRAISE. LONDON, March 6. Lord Jellicoe, in a speech at Liverpool, f?aid that the late lieutenant-commander Saunders, -who was awarded the Victoria Cross, was one of the greatest heroes of tho war. The story of his exploits lias not yet been written to New Zealand, where the gallant officer belonged.
