The White .Guards, after a violent defeat at the Aaland Islands, fled across the ice and took refuge aboard the Swedish expedition's ships. . * Another Swedish expedition departed to the Aaland Islands on Monday, carrying soldiers, who will form a guard on the islands for the duration of the war.
