Official; The Treasury and Miiistry of Reconstruction have appointed' a committee of 13 to consider problems in connection with the currency and foreign exchange during the period of reconstruction aftertho war, and report what stops are required to restore normal conditions. Lord OunHffo (Governor of the Bank of England) will bo chairman, and Lord Incficapo (chairman of the P. and O. Company), Mr R. W. Jeans (general manager of the Bank of Australasia), Mr Charles Addis (of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank) will be members.
