DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. A fair amount of business was transacted at the first rail on ’Change to-day, when two sales took place in ordinary Hud-dart-Parker shares at £1 12s 6d. The market closed with further buyers at £1 12s 6d, ami sellers at £1 12s 7d. New Zealand Paper Mills were in firm demand at 19s, with sellers asking 19s 3d. A sale was reported in this stock at 19s. National Insurances were sought at £2 18s, _ with sellers at £3, while South British Insurances had a buyer at £5 13s, _ but no seller. Westport Stocktons (ordinary) remain firm at 9s Id and 9s 3d, buyer and seller, The ordinary issue of Taupiri Coals was on the market at 18s 3d, without eliciting a buyer. Bruce Woollens had buyers at £1 6s 6d, and sellers at £1 10s. The mining and dredging section of the market was quiet. Waihis at £1 18s, were wanted at £1 16s, while Waihi Grand Junctions were quoted at 15s 9d and 16s 6d, buyer and seller respectiveyl. Sales.— Huddart-Parkers (ord.), £1 12s 6d, £1 12s 6d.
