DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Wcstport-Stocktons were in firm demand on 'Change this morning, when buyers were offering 9s and sellers were asking 9s 3d for the ordinary issue. A sale took place in this stock at 9s Id. There were buyers on the market for National Insur-' ances at £2 18s, New Zealand Insurances at £7 18s, South British Insurances at £5 14s,'and Standard Insurances at £2, but no sellers came forward in any of these lines. Huddart-Parkers (ordinary) were wanted at £1 12s 3d, but sellers were asking £1 12s 9d. The preference issue of these shares had a seller at £1 Is 6d, but no buyer. Westport Coals were in good demand at £1 9s 3d, without a seller. Ordinary Ivaiapoi Woollens had a buyer at £6 17s 6d, and Bruce Woollens" were sought at £1 6s 6d. The mining market was quiet. Talisman consolidateds were quoted at 9s 9d and lis 3d, buyer and seller, while Waihis at £1 18s were looked for at £1 16s 9d. Waihi Grand Junctions had buyers at 15s lOd and sellers at 16s 6d.
