PRINCESS THEATRE

The curl-ent Johnson revue ' The Gramophone Girls' is booming along at the Princess Theatre. Gus Franks as the seeker after gaspipe leaks is extremely funny; tho whole piece, in fact, is a bright and breezy production. Special features are the ju-jitsu dance by Ernest Lashbrook and Lydia Carne; a dainty tango by _ the Starr Sisters, and a very pretty swing song in which swings outlined with colored lights are effectively introduced. ' The Gramaphone Girls ' is certainly one of Mr Johnson's best, .which is saying a good deal. The vaudeville items number three, and are all first class. M&ud Courtney and Mr C continue to arouse hilarious laughter with song and story; Harris and Gold have established themselves as favorites in their particular line of singing, and the three Carrs continue to please with their specialities.
