TO THE EDITOS. Sir,—Might I suggest that opinions should be invited through the medium of your paper as to what is responsible for the present deplorable condition of the beach. I suppose it is safe to say that never in the memory of man'has it been so low. The sand will come back, but the stones are far too often in evidence, and something of late years has caused the trouble.—l am, etc., G. A. Fenwtck. Januarv 8.
