ALLEGED RESUMPTION AT BREST-LITOVSK, PARIS, January 7. {Received January 8, at 12.50 p.m.) Trotsky and the Russian delegates have hurried to Brest-Litovsk, and are now dis--cussing the situation with the Austro-Ger-mans, following the latters’ refusal to tranter negotiations to Stockholm. The ‘Matin’ says that Yon Knhlmann recently told the Russians that what the Russians really wanted was peace at any price. Trotsky told the Soviet Committee two days ago that the Russians would he able to come to an understanding only with Dr liebkuecht, THE GERMAN SPUR. AMSTERDAM, January 7. (Received January 8, at 12.50 p.m.) A message from Brest-Litovsk on Saturday night was sent to Petrograd, reminding the Russian peace delegates that the 10 days in which tho belligerents must decide whether they would participate in negotiations had expired on January 4, and they had not yet made signs of compliance. Tho message was signed bv IVnhlmanu, Gzemin, Pppoff, and Kassimberg.
