Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under ; Until January 12, 1618, mails will be -■. despatched daily by the relief express , tram' leaving Dunedin for Christchurch at 11.15 a.m. North Island mails will con,‘nect with the ferry steamer at Lyttelton I on . Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. } The mails will close at this office at 10.30 I a.m. Late-fee letters. 10.40 a.m. No I late-fee letters can bo .posted at the railI way station for the relief express, j Lato-fea letters for north and south f expresses may now be posted in pillar I posting box in front of railway station. I Mails for South Sea Islands, by next [ available steamer. I Mails for United Kingdom, Expeditionary abroad, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will bo despatched from time to time by the .'cost route without special notification. ■ t Letters usually superscribed •« Via Suez ’’ should now be superscribed “For first direct steamer.” Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship.
