DUNEDIN' STOCK EXCHANGE. P lO only business transacted on ’Change this morning \vus in Huddart-Parker shares, when a sale took place in the ordinary issue at £1 12s 3d. The market closed with further buyers at £1 12s Id, and sellers at £1 12s 9d. National Insurances were in firm demand at £2 18s, with sellers asking £3. Standard Insurance* had a buyer at £2, without a seller. Ordinary Westport-Stocktons had buyers at 9s, and, sellers at 9s sd. Dalgety and Co.’s shares were wanted at £B, but there was no response from seller's. New Zealand Paper Mills were on offer at 19a, '.rath buyers at 18s 6d. In mining lines Mount Lyells at £1 7s 6d were looked for at £1 6s 6d, while Waihis had a seller at £1 18s, but no buyer.
