Off the Griddlo.—The hotel was overcrowded, and a very fat man had been forced to spend the night on a wire cot minus blankets and mattress. "How did yon sleep?" inquired the clerk the next morning. " Oh, I slept all right," the fat man assured Mm,-" but-1 certainly looked like-a waffle witea I got up this morning."
