OUR SOLDIERS IN LONDON.
LAXITY OF STREET CONTROL. LONDON, January 4. Sir Thomas Mackenzie, in a letter to the newspaper, contradicts Mr Jamieson's charge that no care is taken of New Zealanders, but adds: "I intensely regret that I must agree regarding tho'laxity of the London street control over facilities for intemperance and immorality. I called official attention to these conditions, and continue to urge that effective legislation be provided."
