DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Business was resumed on the Dunedin Stock Exchange this morning. The market opened quiet, which is generally the case alter the holiday season. The Melbourne, Sydney,. Adelaide, Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch Exchanges all opened today, and a few days will elapse before all the markets will bo in touch with one another. At the first call on the local Exchange to-day Huddart-Parkers were in demand' at £1 12s 3d, with sellers asking £1 133. Westport Coals were on offer at £1 9b 9d, with buyers at £1 9s, while dinary Westporfc-Stocktons had buyers at 8s lid, and sellers at 9s 6d. New Zealand Drugs (£2 paid issue) were firm at £2 10s 3d and £2 lis 6d, buyer and seller respectively. In the mining' section of the market Waihis at £1 18s were wanted at £1 16s 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions were sought at 15s 6d, but sellers, were asking 16s 3d. Mount Lyells, which are now quoted ex. dividend, had a seller at £1 7s od, but there was no demand for these shares.
