THE EXPLOSION EPIDEMIC.
DISASTER TO COSSACKS. LONDON, January 4. A Haparanda telegram states that a horrible disaster occurred on Christmas Eve. An explosion at a Russian station destroyed two trains which were crowded with Cossacks. Two thousand people were killed, and buildings within two kilometres were wrecked. An entire munition depot on the southwestern front was blown up.
