CAULFIELD TRAINING NOTES. Biplane _ yesterday easily covered seven furlongs in Imin 33sec. Almoner, Mr Stead’s two-year-old, ran half a mile in 50sec. Wallace Isinglass negotiated nine furlongs in 2min &Jsec. BASKET BALL. The following are the points gained by the different clubs during the basket ball season. Each team played seven games. BOWLING. Fairfield Club open their season to-mor-row. J. Olsen has been retained to ride Sleightof Hand in the New Zealand Cup. Varnish will not accept for the Now Zealand Cup to-night.
