AIR SUPREMACY.

GREAT BRITISH. RAID IN N.E. LORRAINE. Australian and N.Z. Cable' Association and Router,' LONDON, October 18. Sir Douglas Haig reports: British aeroplanes carried out a very successful raid in Gorman territory. Thoy attacked a factory westward of Saarbrucken, 40 miles beyond the German frontier (in Lorraine, about 40 miles east of Metz), with good effect, and fires broke out in the factory. All the machines returned. Many bombs wore dropped yesterday on billets and trenches. We brought down three German machines; one of ours'is missing.
