MAORI WHO POSED AS A PRINCE
Tho story of a Maori who posed as a prince waa told to a Westminster court martial the other day. Accused, who pleaded guilty, is named lleketa. He is a lance-corporal in the New Zealand- Force, was discharged from hospital, and then vanished. A month later accused, it was alleged, turned up dressed as a lieutenant, with visiting cards, a high-flown title, and with letters purporting to show that he was in receipt of £SOO a month. In confession to an officer Heketa said he had had " a glorious time." Tho decision oE tho court will be promulgated in due course.
