ej? he , monthly meeting of the High Street bchool Committee was attended by Messrs ft Y ls , hj ? rt J. W. Blackwood. ?r •' l\ J -J' am > H - H - Wise, and Major Fleming. The head master reported an attendance of 545, with an average number on the roll of 587. The Visiting Oommittee reported that the leak in Standard 1. room was bad again, and required attention; also that a new post was required for the gate leading into the school from the Belt. A letter was received from Mr H. Blackwood requesting the use of gymnasium. Tho matter was left in the hands of tho chairman and secretary, with Power to act. A letter was received from ■l ?' Garland, scoutmaster, advising that the Mornington Scouts would no longer require the hall for practice. Permission was granted to leave tho Scout property in the hall meanwhile at their own risk. Messrs Martin and Potter were appointed Visiting Committee for the month.
