A GENEROUS EMPLOYER. Under the will of the late Mr John Bartlett, of Peabody, Mass. (U.S.), and vice-president of the American Radiator Company, of which ho was the founder, left estate valued at nearly two millions sterling. He bequeathed a quarter of a million among 400 of his older employees In appreciation of faithful service; lie also gave them 60 per cent, of the income from half a million’s worth of stock, the principal of which will eventually be distributed among them. On the death of his widow and her sisters the principal of another half a million will be divisable among the company’s employees.
