MOSGIEL PICTURES : ‘ THE PILLORY.’ The Pillory ’ will be shown to-morrow evening m the Coronation Hall, Mosgiol. Most ingenious use is made of Scriptural texts in this fine drama, supported by a full programme of comedy, scenic, and industrial subjects. In the mouth of the narrow-minded, uncharitable, old Deborah these quotations are used with dreadful effect to harden her resolution to expose the past of a woman who is trying to atone by good deeds. Florence La Radio ,is a most attractive heroine, and her girlish gmee is full of charm in every scene. The story is natural and fine, and the scene in which Deborah bursts upon the at the Judge’s house and tells them of tne sin of the hostess is terrible in rts dramatic intensity.
