Tho Daonevirke Hunt Olub's meeting was held yesterday in fine weather. The totalisator handled £10,613, as against £8,532 at th.6 last meeting. Winners: Hunters' Hurdles, Dunrobin; Maiden Hunters' Steeplechase, Hoku; Maiden Hack Handicap. Bloomine; Hunt Cup Steeplechase, Chaban; Otawhao Hying, Idyllic: Tomataro Steeplechase, Jem; Karitaake Hack Handicap, Hastie; Ladies' Bracelet, Mattock. A Sydney cable states that Mr H. R. Drison has purchased the New Zealand horse Immortelle. The price is not stated. Mr A. J. M'Manemin, of EUerslie, has been appointed handicapper to tho Auckland Racing Club.
