HOTEL HOURS. [Pen United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 14. A large meeting of citizens to-day car* ried. a resolution — " That this meeting of business men express surprise and regret at the failure of the Government to discharge their plain duty to give effect to the almost universal demand for 6 o'clock closing." It waa further resolved to call a public meeting in the Town Hall to make further representations to the Government in favor of Ui6 adoption of the recommondations of the Efficiency Board in reference to the liquor trade.
