GAELIC SOCIETY
The monthly meeting of the Gaelic Society was held last evening, when a full attendance was presided over by the chief (Mr Dugald M'Pherson). The programme presented was of a varied character, and elicited the warm approval of the audience. D Cameron, ‘Mary of Argyle ’ and ‘Jessie, the Flower of Dunblane ’; Master Willie M‘Kenzie, Highland fling; Miss Dot hiynn, recitations, ‘ Spotty 5 and ‘The Green Eye of the Yellow God ’; Mr M Lean, ‘My Ain. Kind Dearie ’: Mr Kennedy, Gaelic song; Mr Eagar, ‘Cam’. Ye By Athol’ and ‘Annie Launo;’ Piper Allister M'Donald supplied the national music. •^? 10 .r Usual hour’s dancing followed, W!th Mr Alex.
