CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATIONS
FARMERS' ENTERPRISE. [Pta United Pukes Association.] CHBIBTCHUBCH, June 29. A conference of delegates of tho Farmers' Co-operative Wholesale Federation of New Zealand, Ltd., has opened in Christchurch. Delegates are present representing nine co-operative associations!, from Invercargill to Whangarei. Mr J. A. Pannett (chairman of directors of tha New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury) is in the chair. Mr Pannott was elected chairman of directors of the federation, with tho following directorate :—Messrs J. Talbot (Timaru), F. Freeman (Dnnedin), Sir J. G. Wilson (Wellington), Messrs N. Warson Wilson (Wellington), A. E. Harding (Whangaxei), H. S. Hawkins (Hamilton), J. W. Harding (Napier), Alex. Hunter (Hawera), Hugh Smith (Gore). Mr Pannett entertained the delegates at dinner last night.
