PRESS CONFERENCE
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, April 25. At the Press luncheon Mr Massey eulogised the Press of tho Southern Hemisphere for their high tone and fairness. He expressed regret at the paucity of Dominion news in British newspapers. Better cable communication was required, and the matter should bo taken up by the different Governments. Referring to Anzac Day, Mr Massey said he hoped that Gallipoli would not be left to a foreign country. Sir James S. Meston said the bringing of Indian and Dominions' representatives into conference had done much to remove the existing misunderstanding. He hoped the suggestion of a parliamentary visit to India would include a Dominions’ delegation, and also Press representatives, and that the visit would take place before the next conference. General Smuts insisted on determined warfare, so that we would not give the enemy the chance of again becoming a world scourge.
