LONDON, February 19. ' In the House of Commons Mr Bonar \ Law stated that the subjects of discussion | at the Imperial Conference wouid not be; decided until the oversea representatives' arrived. The Government would not interfere with anything the council desired to discuss. The question of the administration of Iroland was a matter for the Imperial Parliament.

Mr Walter Long stated he was anxiously considering the question of compulsory local military service for Euro-pean-British subjects, and in those Crown colonic wherein compulsion did not exist, but he was not prepared to adopt any further change at present.
